YOU ARE NOW WATCHING BLEACHED SUN
Bleached Sun is the brainchild of high school friends Bryon Anderson, Dylan McCain, and Jibran Mohammed. They began their musical journey originally going under the name DLB (Dirty Litter Box) in their sophomore year of high school. Immediately the they were a collective to pay attention to with listeners noting the gray area they seemed to operate in terms of sound and delivery. Dylan (Switzerland) McCain delivers raps of luxury and fashion with a hint of anxiety and distress while Bryon (Juno) Anderson compiles tales of depression, loss, sexuality, and heartbreak delivered with anger or poetic sentimentality.
This makes for an odd but seamless duality among the pair that's only heightened by the genre bending production that Bryon is also responsible for while Jibran (Jib The Crane) handles a solely electronic influenced soundscapes. The 25 year old's are making a name for themselves locally in their city of Rancho Cucamonga and in the Bay Area of North California with their output of videos on YouTube and social engagement that's inspired and genuine. Some fans have described their music as being a safe haven for outcasts whether it comes to mental health, LGBTQ, society, and trials and tribulations of youth and adulthood. In a world that seems like everything is falling apart Bleached Sun might be the great company you want to keep right now. Their newest album is set to arrive January 2023.
